Visionland Theme Park
Description
| VisionLand is a seasonal theme park with four
themed areas: Main Street Marvel City, Celebration City and Steel Waters. Main Street is a
picturesque street from the past with a variety of eating facilities and shops. Marvel
City, an area especially for children, is filled with attractions such as racecars,
bumpercars, a mini ferris wheel and a kiddie coaster. Celebration City has games and
thrill rides, including Rampage, a $4.3 million wooden roller coaster, and the Wild River
Gorge river rapids water ride. Steel Waters, a 7-acre water park, has something for
visitors of all ages. Other areas of interest include Langford High, a 10,000 square foot
Family Entertainment Center, and Dino Domain by Dinamation. Dino Domain is an animated
dinosaur exhibit in an outdoor setting featuring 36 species of life-sized animals that
move their heads, legs or tails. |
