To conduct continuing
education for youth and adults in agriculture production, rural development, home
economics, family life and related subjects. |

Provide latest research information
pertaining to agriculture, home economics and 4-11 Club work using a variety of teaching
methods, newspaper articles, newsletters, radio programs, workshops, classes, farm
and home visits, as well as office visits and telephone calls. Hundreds of
educational publications and brochures are available at the county office. Subject
matter includes farm crops, livestock, gardening, orchards, ornamental
horticulture, soil testing, pesticide usage, home equipment and furnishings, family
life, money management, nutrition, food preparation, clothing and health. |
