Aubodon Society

   

Meets: 

The second Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30 PM in the St. Bernard School Auditorium. Monthly meetings are scheduled from September through May. Monthly outings are scheduled form September through June. You do not have to be a member to participate.

Mission: The National Audubon Society's mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds and other wildlife for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.
   
Programs: There are several potential community projects. At the November 9, 1999 7:00 meeting Bob & Martha Sargent will be speaking on The Hummingbird.
   
Membership:  Membership currently stands at 280. Active participation at monthly meeting will vary from 40 to 200. The Cullman Audubon Society is one of more than 500 independent chapters of National Audubon nationwide. The Cullman chapter is in it's fourth year. There are six chapters in Alabama.
