I am a helicopter/airplane pilot from Atlanta, Georgia and have just returned from the
helicopter fly-in at the Cullman airport, Oct. 6,7 and 8.I would like to say thank you, to someone for the fine hospitality and great
job that the whole staff provided during my stay. This staff is one of the finest I have ever
encountered in almost 30 years of flying all over the U.S.A. I must say that those of us from Atlanta were also very impressed with the
airport facilities, (i.e. cafe, pilot's lounge, weather/flight planning services, etc;).
In the future I will go out of my way to land at Cullman to visit one of the
nicest communities, airports and people in the entire country.

My name is "John Doe" of Madison, Al. and I was wondering if I could ask you a question in regards to relocating my family to Cullman. I don't know if this is your "department" but I figured that I would ask anyway. (I looked over the www.cullman.com website and did not see any forums to ask questions.) There is a good possibility that I will be moving to Cullman in the very near future and was wondering what section of Cullman is a "good" area to live in. When I say "good" I mean safe, good school district, late model homes, etc... I am in management for a Birmingham-based construction equipment
dealership. If it's not too much trouble, please email me back with your recommendation and why is this area is "good."

My grandfather moved from Cullman in the late 1920's but our family has always
carried a torch for your fair city. I hope to visit in person some day. I am
interested in learning more about Col. Cullman and why he developed the city. In
fact, why did he move from the North to Alabama? Was he a U.S. army guy or was
he a true off-the-boat German. Let me know if you get a chance.
By the way, I've bookmarked your site and I like checking the weather. Here in
Detroit it is just a hair above 12 degrees today.

Hi! We are part-time Hanceville residents. But our main home is in Augusta,
GA. We are trying (long distance - hence this e mail) to find an electrician
in the Cullman area who is familiar with wiring solar (photovoltaic) panels
and the various components needed in a photovoltaic system. We have a small
one, in case power goes out, to run several small appliances in our home. The
manufacturer said to find an electrician familiar with wiring solar power modules to wire the system for us. I could not find any info. in my copy of
the Cullman Yellow Pages that related to solar power. Can you, possibly, direct me to someone who can do this work for us? This would save me calling
every electrical contractor in the phone book (and probably getting all answering machines and then all collect calls in return). If you do not know
of anyone, maybe you know someone who would know someone...? I am in somewhat of a hurry about all this too. Thank you for your help!

Thank you for providing the public with this information about Cullman. I was born and raised in Cullman and I moved to Rome, GA in January of 1998. My parents still live in the Addison area. I found your site on accident but have enjoyed looking at the information you share. I am in the funeral business and worked for three years at Williams-McCracken Funeral home. During that time I made alot of friends in and around Cullman. This website gives me a chance to find out what is going on in the area. Cullman will always be home & I am glad that the world is getting a chance to experience it.
Thanks
Jamie

Hey, just a word of encouragement. I like the new look of the home
page, plus most of the links are high on the picture so you don't have to
wait for the whole thing to load before you click on what you came for.
I am not wild about the 800x600 res. bought a scanner
the other day which REQUIRES it, & on the equipment I get to use, it
kinda' stinks. but at least yours is better than Sun Microsystems home
page ... I have to scroll back & forth to read theirs. I also saw your
billboard on hwy 31 south. Do you/they plan to put local (highschool)
football, basket ball, etc
schedules, win/lose, game comments online here? ( just wondering )
CE
Yes, we do plan on eventually further developing our sports section to
include more features.

I was at work tonight and happen to see your commercial on a patients
t.v. The site is great. I have visited Alabama live, but there is not too much about cullman. A suggestion, maybe create a room for chatting
or exchanging e-mail addresses. I for one would love to meet more people in
cullman. Or maybe a wallace college student page,or something. Ya'll keep up the good work and I will spread the news of the site!
Betsy
We are considering a chat
room for the future - - all in good time. ;-)

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for the site. I am originally from Cullman, but being in the Air Force has taken me away from my home. I
love my career, but its good now that I can have a source of information
from home! There's never been a doubt that I will go right back to Cullman when I retire from the service, so its good to be able to keep
up with things in Cullman. Thanks to you and all of those who have put in the work to putting this information together.

Good morning,
I took the advice of my professor, and visited your web page. I am very impressed with the quality and content. I am a
graphic design major at Samford Univ. and have dealt with and studied web sites. From what i have learned, you have created yourself a darn
good one. It has helpful content, good advertisements, wonderful graphics, and it's very easy to use. Congratulations to your team of
net-workers and I look forward to visiting again soon to see some of the
updates.
Sincerely,
Taylor

Dear Editor:
We are planning to move to Cullman in a couple of weeks from Las Vegas. We were hoping to find information on local houses for rent here, Is there
anything along that line or did we miss it? This is nice I never really
thought that Cullman would have a website of it's own. Well, please let me
know if you have any suggestions about the rental properties in town. Talk
with you later. Soon to be a fellow Cullmanite,
Rachel

Dear Sir,
How can I get access to the Hanceville or Cullman news papers? I am now living in Helsinki, Finland and would like to keep up with the local news.
Can you tell me who won the Cullman County Sheriffs race?
Thanks, Criss
This message was written
way before this web page was created, but we do eventually plan on adding
features such as these as part of our news feature.

Hey Cullman,
I'm in the US Navy Seabees, the family and myself are stationed in
Japan, I graduated from West Point in 1983 and I'm currently stationed in Japan. I'm looking foward to the remaining sites opening up,
especially real estate. I'll be leaving here in about three years and looking foward to coming back that way. Good luck with the web page and
thanks.

I found your web site while trying to find information on Cullman, Alabama. But it did not provide me the the information I needed.
I am the President of a communication company in south Florida, and I am
looking to relocate to your area. I was hoping to find Info on Real Estate, Commerce, and schools. Any advice?
