Cashier: Clint
Attitude: Rude and evidently not customer friendly.
Complaint: Store policy (not posted for customers to view) supersedes all
communication from the customer ... even the request for a plastic bag to put
product into. Belittled customer in front of customers in line and actually
raised his voice and made rude eye contact and gestures toward this
customer.
Mgm't: Tina
Attitude: Professional and aware of customer's value
Complaint: She was left in charge but had no authority to make decision without
putting her job in jeopardy ... even if it meant losing regular customers.
Story: I asked to return a $10.99 hitch lock with old receipt (more than
a year) because I did not need this item. I explained that I had purchased it on
occasion when another could not be found for use. This item was still in
original bag and never removed until returned to the store ... had been sitting
on table behind "stuff" and had forgot I had it ... had found the former for
which this was a replacement. Anyway, I was informed that there could not be a
return due to a new policy of Tractor Supply Co. ... no other option was
presented other than a short tempered statement by the cashier and a glare that
sited me as a bad guy. Another female employee (not on duty) butted in
with instructions to the cashier ... interrupting the person in charge of the
store.
Assessment:
I have no plans to trade at this store or any other TSC because they lack
customer appreciation and seem to be very under-staffed.
